Abbott Auto-Electrician on left corner, retail outlets and cars parked on both sides of the street heading east towards the Bank of New Zealand and Commercial Hotel buildings. There are two men riding bikes and one walking across the road. The hills of Te Rae o Kohi (Kohi Point) and Kaputerangi Pā (Te Tini ō Toi) are in the background. (WWI Memorial now outside War Memorial Hall, Rex Morpeth Park)
